Before setting off on his path, Matt Turk was part of "The Hour", along with Marshall Madow, Carey Harmon (Railroad Earth), Jen Phelps-Montgomery and Luke Patchen (Strangefolk), John Vitarelli, and Mike Mulvey, "The Hour" is best known for being the house band at Ken and Michelle Hoff's and rock promoter Bill Graham's Arrowhead Ranch.
